The Surf City Allstars are the only band in the world to have played and sang lead vocals in both the Beach Boys band and the Jan&Dean band. Why hire a lesser tribute band when you can pay about the same price for the best singers from the Beach Boys? The Surf City Allstars members are: David Logeman (drums) was hired by Beach Boy Mike Love in 1995 and performed with all of the surviving members of the Beach Boys. Chris Farmer (bass / vocals) toured for 12 years as the musical director for the Beach Boys. Philip Bardowell (guitar / vocals) was hired into the Beach Boys by original Beach Boy Carl Wilson, Aaron Broering (guitar / keys / vocals) has performed the hits of the Beach Boys with original Beach Boys Al Jardine and David Marks. Gary Griffin (keys / vocals) recorded and toured with the Beach Boys in the 1970s. Before they joined the Beach Boys, each member of the Surf City Allstars also toured for years with the hit surf music duo Jan&Dean.
