Biography

The Jazz Cartel is a 9 piece swingin' band in the style of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. The band consists of 5 horns, drums, upright bass, guitar, organ and crooning vocals and started in 2012 at a restaurant called Twin Palms in Pasadena. The Jazz Cartel has since made their mark on the L.A. club scene and have played at venues such as Clifton's, The Edison, Herb Alpert's Vibrato, Vitello's in Studio City, 7 Grand in downtown Los Angeles, and many more. Also, a mainstay in their list of performance venues is inside Disneyland Park and on the Downtown Disney stage in Anaheim, Ca. The Cartel has released an album in 2018 entitled 'The First Album' with songs written and arranged by band leader and singer/guitarist Curtis Parry.
