Biography

Tal Vaknine is a classically- trained harpist based in Los Angeles. A graduate from the Academy of music and Dance in Jerusalem. She balances a busy schedule as a recording artist, performer, and teacher. Tal began her harp studies at the young age of 7 years old learning from the well-known harpist, Irina Kaganovsky. Tal Won the Israeli harp competition and was the first Harpist to receive a scholarship from the Veron Foundation. In addition, Tal's was the winner of the AmericanIsrael Culture Foundation in the year 2009-2013. In her professional life, Tal performed as a soloist in many orchestras including Symphonic Planet, The National Orchestra of Cyprus, the modern orchestra "Castle In Time", the Tel Aviv Chamber Orchestra, and many more. Thanks to her vast experience, she had the privilege of performing in the Saban Theatre (Beverly Hills), Hieichal Hatarbut (Tel Aviv) and even the Vatican (Italy).
