FOUNDED 2017 IN VENTURA, CALIFORNIA Blackstar is the Central Coast's premier David Bowie tribute experience. While we do strive to reproduce the album sound for many of the songs in our extensive repertoire - our primary focus is to capture the energy and excitement of a live David Bowie show. From the funky blue-eyed soul grooves of Fame, Young Americans, and Golden Years, to the stadium rock anthems such as Ziggy Stardust, All the Young Dudes, and Under Pressure we can cover all of the many facets of Bowie's exceptional and storied career. We keep people on their feet and deliver an exciting experience for casual and die-hard Bowie fans alike. We have custom-tailored sets to best fit the venue and event and can provide up to 3 hours of entertainment.
